Upstate Creative is Kristina Feliciano.
Kris is the former creative director of Stockland Martel, a New York City-based photo agency that represented award-winning commercial photographers. Before transitioning to marketing and strategy in 2009, she worked as a writer and editor for publications including Entertainment Weekly, Modern Painters, Revolver, Photo District News, and the British Journal of Photography.
Since 2018, she has worked as an independent consultant and copywriter for creative businesses in a variety of disciplines, and served as the director of marketing for Giant Artists. She launched Upstate Creative in early 2024, inspired by her move to Kingston, New York.
