Custom Journals for Giant Artists

Giant Artists, a Los Angeles–based creative agency representing award-winning photographers, directors, DPs, and creators, commissioned us to design a series of 6 print-on-demand softcover journals. In keeping with the agency’s fresh, dynamic aesthetic, our concept invited the viewer to open the journal from either side, juxtaposing images from each artist’s archive in surprising ways. Branding was low-key in order to keep the focus on the imagery, and to make the journals feel like an item the recipient could experience as their own.
